Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

Learn Romanian Hub (“the Service”) is operated by Artix Innovations, trading as Learn Romanian Hub, a business registered in the Netherlands (Valse IJsboutpad 14, 4125 RJ Hoef en Haag, Netherlands; KVK 92697895; VAT NL004970684B26).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Learn Romanian Hub provides a Romanian language learning platform including structured lessons, vocabulary practice, AI conversation practice, and pronunciation feedback. The Service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee specific language learning outcomes.

3. Accounts

• You must be 13 years or older to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• One account per person. Sharing accounts is not permitted.
• We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and payment

• Free tier: the first lessons of each level (A1–C2), no credit card required.
• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
• Prices are shown inclusive of VAT where applicable (handled by Stripe Tax).
• You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.
• 7-day refund policy for new subscriptions: contact support within 7 days of purchase.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Scrape, copy, or redistribute lesson content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent access controls.
• Use the AI conversation feature to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content.
• Impersonate other users or Learn Romanian Hub staff.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.

6. Intellectual property

All lesson content, audio recordings, and software are owned by Learn Romanian Hub or its licensors. Your account data (learning progress, conversation history) belongs to you. You may request an export at any time.

7. AI-generated content

The AI conversation feature uses Claude (Anthropic) to generate responses. AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate. Do not rely on AI-generated Romanian for official, legal, or medical purposes.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Learn Romanian Hub is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amounts you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim.

9. Service availability

We aim for 99.5% monthly uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance is announced at least 24 hours in advance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the Netherlands, unless applicable consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory rights as a consumer.

11. Changes to Terms

We’ll notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
